Free to use. A plan adds more.

The core of Plexus is free, and always will be. You need no account and no plan to run sessions, review an agent's work or open pull requests. A paid plan adds seven things on top, for yourself or for a team. It is not a licence to run the app, and a plan that lapses takes nothing you made away.

Free, with no account

Download Plexus and use all of this, for as long as you like. No account, no plan, no seat.

Paid plans

Both are billed monthly and start the moment they are paid for. Buy one in the app under Settings, or in your web account.

What a plan adds

Across your machines

Cross-device sync

Your settings, workspaces and projects on every machine you sign in on.

How it works

Prompt templates saved to your account

A prompt you wrote on one machine, available on the next.

How it works

Across your team

Shared workspaces

A workspace someone in your organization set up once, with its repositories attached, in your sidebar.

How it works

Managed settings

A setting your organization published once, recommended on your machines or enforced and locked there.

How it works

Organization prompts

Prompt templates your organization publishes, in your template list beside your own and updated for everyone when it publishes a new revision.

How it works

Between you and GitHub

GitHub issues and boards

A project's GitHub issues and GitHub Projects boards inside Plexus, fetched from your own GitHub account. Attaching a tracker, linking a session to an issue and the Closes #123 line stay free.

How it works

Between you and your git provider

Stacks and ordered merging

Sessions stacked on each other's branches and kept in sync, and a stack, or a list of pull requests, merged in order with one click. Basing a session on another session's branch and opening a pull request against any branch stay free.

How it works

Seats

There are two paid plans, both billed monthly. An individual plan belongs to your own Plexus account. An organization plan belongs to one organization and is billed per seat: you choose how many seats it has. A seat gives its holder everything an individual plan does, plus the workspaces, settings and prompts that organization shares. A member without a seat is still a full member and uses Plexus exactly as before. Seats are given out and taken back in the app, removing a member frees their seat, and an organization can set its seat count to zero without being deleted.

Plans, seats and billing in the docs

Questions, answered.

Is Plexus free?

Yes. Sessions, worktrees, the agent terminal, review, the explorer, the git client, hooks, pull requests and the dashboard never need an account, a plan or a seat. A plan adds the seven things listed above.

Is there a free trial or an annual plan?

No. Plans start immediately and renew every month until you cancel. There is no annual option, no trial and no coupon code.

How is VAT handled?

Prices are shown on the checkout page in your currency, with the VAT that applies to you, before you pay. VAT is worked out by Moneybird, the invoicing service we use, from the country, address and VAT number in your billing details. A business in another EU country with a valid VAT number is invoiced at 0% under the reverse charge, a consumer pays their own country's rate, and no VAT is charged outside the EU.

How do I cancel?

Use Cancel plan on the Billing page of the web account panel, or the payment provider's portal under Manage billing. The plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. A cancellation cannot be undone, but you can start a new plan once the period ends. Because a plan starts the moment it is paid for, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply; you confirm this before you pay.

What happens to my data when a plan ends?

Nothing is deleted. Your machines stop syncing with each other, shared workspaces stop updating, and new organization settings and prompts stop arriving. Every setting, workspace, project and session on every machine stays as it is, enforced settings keep their last value, and starting a plan again picks up where it left off.

What if a payment fails?

Nothing is switched off. The plan stays active, seats stay assigned and sync keeps running. You see a warning that a payment has not gone through until you fix it under Manage billing.

Who can buy a plan for an organization?

The organization's owner. Admins manage members and give out seats that are already paid for. To let admins handle billing too, copy the Admin role and tick Manage billing on the copy.

Do I need a plan to use my Claude subscription?

No. Your Claude subscription is separate: it is what runs your agents, and Plexus uses your existing Claude Code login. A Plexus plan has nothing to do with it.

Start with the free app.

Plexus is free to download for macOS, Windows and Linux. It runs the Claude Code you already have, with your existing login.
